Changing Super Wet Goodnites

Flamingos of Mumbai

Siddharth Dhanvant Shanghvi

are flamingos Flamingos of Mumbai who found themselves lost in a swamp in the midst of industrial buildings and relics, beautiful and fragile animals that have accontantentati a place that was not theirs, and who have only the freedom, in valves, to take off.

They are also the protagonists of this novel , people lost their human affairs. All brilliant and sad.

The protagonist is a young photographer who had just arrived in Bombay from the remote Shimla immediately becomes friends with a beautiful star in Bollywood and a young pianist of success, homosexual, who decided to abandon his career.
Sorry for the vulgarity (and then a sentence is absolutely in keeping with the novel), but as soon as I told my companion, told me: "Yes, and then maybe give it to him even before he meets the road" . Here, indeed, yes, that's it. This is Rhea, ceramic artist who has left everything but a marriage of love. And with the passing of time and drastic changes in history also the talent of the player will have his crisis.
short, a sort of Indian Tenenbaum, a concentration of genes and artists that somehow got lost the street.

Another main character is the city of Bombay, of which our hero wants to make a picture epic, " a monstrous muse, a bit 'massacre and a little' clown, always absurd, often charming .
In particular, the characters in the story, inspired by the case of Jessica Lall , live in the refined world of Bombay who lives in villas, Bellini drink and say witty jokes that are the envy dandy Oscar Wilde (while Bollywood extolled the promise can not be seen on the cover).

The novel, in my opinion has many flaws: too many stereotypes, too trivial, Oscillating between a lexicon with the language of adolescent sexual allusions and phrases for poetic effect (some even well managed, others completely out of place), from exuberant young author trying to impress, and then turn in tone a bit at the end ' sickly love of melodrama.

I'm saying is crap, indeed, "a sterile, soulless crap" (as the book describes one of the characters)?
No. .. history is fascinating television and the pages scroll. The emotions that ooze from the pages involved in the rough.
Some moments are actually some of the phrases and poetic effect really work, they think, move. At the end you create empathy: if for no other reason, including loneliness and redemption are all affected by the loss and death.

In short, it seems that the novel could write one of the characters in the book ( and on the other hand, the strip tells us that the author lived in a house built on a tree in Bombay and that when he was studying in London did offer to drink, telling Indian legends ...).
A book so full of ups and downs, as this review describes an Indian blogger, which is exactly what I think, word for word.

Knees Are Sore From Treadmill

2011 JORDAN & SYRIA TUNISIA

A path that repeats destinations in Tunisia have already seen but where it is always possible to discover new emotions.
16 campers, 38 people, 3 dogs: a group organized by Size adventure that is knit from the first meeting at the port of Genoa and all together have helped make this trip enjoyable.
31.12 Departure from La Goulette, the port of Tunis, where we landed the night before. A modern road link takes us on the highway and quickly arrive at El Jem where you must visit the amphitheater preserved and restored in an exemplary way, built by the Romans in the third century AD was the third in largest after the Roman Colosseum amphitheater of Capua. In the afternoon we move to Matmata where we arrive when it starts to get dark, the days are short in the months of December and January, we refer you to visit the next morning and greet the New Year with a dinner of Tunisian dishes in a local restaurant place. The presence of personnel of the local police stop us at midnight as is our custom. We must remember that we are an Islamic state and the use of alcohol is strictly forbidden, previously I had already happened to celebrate the new year in that space and we never had the company of police, with hindsight, and given what has happened now in Tunisia probably after we left the police were there to protect our safety.
However the evening was spent with music and dancing in joy and at the end everyone was able to drink in the privacy of your camper.
1:01 Busy day began with a visit to the cave houses of Matmata and then transfer to the south of Medenine and Tataouine gorfas to visit the Ksar Ouled Soltane, wonderfully preserved, then the villages Hills and Chenini Douret two jewels with their white mosque that stands out on the houses camouflaged and dug up a series of rocky terraces.
E 'already evening when, returning on our steps, we reach over Medenine Metameur where we parked our camper for the night in a beautiful gorfa dominated by the minaret of the local mosque, a unique experience.
2:01 A final look with the morning light of the gorfa Metameur and departure to Douz, the gateway to the desert. A stop at the village of Toujan to visit the Berber carpet weaving and for some photos, lunchtime we are camping in Douz. In the afternoon visit to the quaint town square with its souq square adorned with porticos, the place of all sorts of activities.
3:01 Today is the day of the desert: on board we venture off-road at the time of the 'oasis of Ksar Ghilane, an exhilarating experience dunes, sand without end, cover-ups and stops to walk and play in the desert.
Ksar Ghilane is an ancient fort which are now few remains that we can see from the jeep near the oasis, the true goal of our tour where a hot spring, surrounded by tamarisk trees, feeds a natural pool, ; in many dive for a swim in the desert. The few hours at our disposal to pass between a walk and a camel ride aboard quod then resume the way back, this time in a comfortable way asphalt in a couple of hours brings us back to Douz.

4:01 Destination mountain oasis: Chebika, and Tamerza Mides. First we need to cross the Chott el Jerid a place that is never the same, in reality, the Chott is a large salt lake with a depth ridiculous el ' appearance changes depending on the amount of water present, this year it rained so that the visible salt crust is incomplete. At other times the entire surface is devoid of water and appears as a vast desert, however, a dazzling white show always exciting.
passed through the Chott el Jerid and Chott el lined the Gars Chebika we are, from the old village you can enjoy a view on the "palm" and the desert to the border with Algeria. We cross the old village and arrive in a narrow gorge where a natural spring, and the pride of local feeds a perennial stream that provides water to the village and especially the palm grove.
few miles and we are the oasis of Mides where the main attraction is a deep canyon that you can walk and we are really on the Algerian border, you can see the stones that surround it. A Tamerza we stop for the night in a small parking lot just behind the city of palm groves. Even Tamerza is cut by a canyon where a stream generating some waterfalls that the group visit while I remain in camper for a boring feverish influence it will only trip over.
5:01 Crossing the mining area Redeyef Metloui where we come to participate in the excursion by train "Lezard Rouge", a train built in 1910 and restored for the tourist service along the gorge of 'oued Seldja up to the phosphate mines. After lunch, reached in a short Tozeur, once placed in the campsite, we made a visit to the city of palm trees and a nice board horse-drawn carriages.
6:01 A good road leads us to where we Sbeitla awaits the visit of the Roman site of Sufetula and continue up to Kairouan, one of the seven holy cities of Islam. That same evening, the campers placed in the garden of the Hotel Continental, we take a tour of the medina at dusk with the inevitable carpet cooperative based in the "Maison du Gouverneur, a beautiful 18th century former palace residence of the Pasha of Kairouan.

7:01 Tour of the Great Mosque of Kairouan starting from which one can only access the courtyard with the marble floor and surrounded by an imposing portico on which overlook the wooden doors of the prayer hall from which you can admire the interior. The visit is Bir Barouta then continued with an ancient well which was built around the building that houses it, an 'interesting ride in the medina dedicated to the food market and for a last visit to the mosque of "The Barber".
A quick ride on the highway leads us, in the early afternoon, in Tunis, where we stop in the comfortable parking on Avenue Mohammed V. 8:01
now feels in the air when you leave each participant devotes a few hours left to visit Tunis to suit your preference and we are again at dusk in La Goulette, customs operations, loading and departure of the ship with the usual hours late. The next day
on board the ship which takes us back in Italy we know of the "Revolt of Jasmine" in which we have not been involved for a few hours.

LACE BIRD 2717 m. 01/16/2011

Every so often you return to the classic rides, especially when there are many of the group yet.
Snow conditions promised a good trip, and so is state. Beautiful snow in the first thousand feet, a light crust skiable snow in the middle third and turned the bottom. The only drawback
the wind a little bit annoying that accompanied us for most of the day but ... San Bernardino is always windy!

Street Route: Highway A13 exit San Bernardino is parked at the ski lift in the country.

ascent route: it goes back to the left side of the tracks and out of the woods you take a long hillside to the Casera Vignun q. 2115 m. In the north you reach the spot elevation 2382 m. where it goes into the final slope leading to the hill and briefly at the summit.

down Route: the route Rise with the possibility, with guaranteed snow, descend directly from the top of the slope below. From the Casera Vignun again may vary according to the right bank of the Ri de Fontanalba to return to the track before the forest edge.

1110 meters difference in altitude.

Is Cervical Mucus Dry Before Period?

Mai

of Geetanjali Shree

I do not know if it is "worth". They are usually the writers to dedicate their books to anyone, but I think the readers have a right to spend their readings to those who most pleases them.
To me it came naturally to devote Mai novel, Geetanjali Shree's novel, written in Hindi and recently translated into English, Kunjan, because among other things I read when I was at his house.

Kunjan is the sister of the friend who hosted me in Gandhinagar in Gujarat, in its three-story house with his entire family. Kunjan quickly became a dear friend, can donate at any time confidences, hugs, tears and sincere words.

In the novel in question, which has been very successful when translated into English, the author describes in a very intense life of a mother, "Never" , primarily seen through the eyes of his daughter.

It 's a mother who takes the meaning of his life in silence, submission to the various members of the family-in-law, husband, sons, each in varying degrees. There is violence: the others decide and she accepts, as if he knew or could not do anything else. Its virtues feeds and depends on it, in a mental prison that is often found, for his homework, his back bent, soon ill and in pain, which becomes a metaphor for his state, in its submission.

Mai, which belongs to a middle class family in northern India, he lives his life among the rooms of the house and those rooms throughout the novel we also go out very little. The same house is not a neutral environment, but it defines the relationships between family members, with the arrangement of rooms, kitchen, interior spaces and walls.
two sons repeated throughout their life, from an early age, he wants to "save", but gradually they realize that a bird in a cage can not be freed.

The fact that I have read in the home of Kunjan enlightened me about many things, and it was too easy (and perhaps not entirely correct) reading watermark in the novel among the rooms of the house in Gandhinagar.

Never Like the novel, even Kunjan certainly not forced into the house by force, but also the whole big family is very kind and affectionate with her. But his is a life entirely to serve the family, mother and model wife: loving, caring, smiling, she is the most educated of the family and the one that best of all speak English.
But when I open my heart overwhelms me his immense nostalgia of Bombay, where he lived before marriage, and a life full of dreams in which there was neither wife nor mother, but only itself.

Geetanjali Shree's book probably would not have hit so much if I had read on other occasions, so close to describing reality itself.
I dedicate it to Kunjan, the girl of his dreams.

Chines Bangs Hait Style

The book that you see on the side and that is called love The alphabet was a most welcome Christmas gift from a friend. Published in the series
BUR BUR Pills (at a modest cost of € 5.00), is certainly a book worth more than what it costs. The rule on which it is built is very simple: Luigi La Rosa, the curator, took all the letters of the alphabet (including J, K, W, X and Y), and each of them has chosen one or more topics and each theme is represented by a song, and it's classical or modern literature, Italian or Greek or Russian or American does not matter, because the love-heterosexual or homosexual-it knows no language nor distance nor borders.

After reading it and enjoyed reading all the ideas you have given me, I would offer one of the songs that struck me most, and that I found the letter "L", "lips".
is an author of whom I did not know the name, Covacich Mauro, whose story that inspired the following song is entitled Here lies Francis Turner . The whole story can be found in the book Deandreide (BUR), a collection of fourteen short stories of so many Italian writers, each of which is based on a song by Fabrizio De André.

Here lies Francis Turner
Mauro Covacich

On Mary, do not stand standing there, supports the flowers and sit down. Grass, yes. I thought it would no longer come and yet here you are. I was given a beautiful place, is not it? From here I can see the road that bends down toward the river, you see? And the parking lot. Spending the days to follow all the comings and goings that's out there, I do not even dead. Come on, Mary, do not do that. Dried, as a good. You could not know. No one can think of killing someone with a kiss. You have been spontaneous and nothing else. Have you heard of it and, so, suddenly, after all the things left to believe that you'd never done, I've kissed. You have not used a knife or a gun. You had a cyanide capsule hidden in his mouth. You simply placed your lips on my floor. You should stop blame yourself. I did not I say anything, but maybe I should have preferred to risk it. I spent all my life to control me, with you I wanted to risk it. I had encountered nothing so far that he deserved more of Miss Mary Iggins and I do not regret having done so. My whole childhood has gone with me sitting in the stands watching the parade.
[...] You know, Mary, for life, day after day-one day after another, one after another after another after another after that one and still and a still ...- one I stayed to watch. My parents have told me immediately what was going on. No dodgeball, hide nothing, no tree house, no ride. A sheltered life as a spectator, this touched me and I've got this. Until I met you.
[...] I mean, yes, do that thing there, I missed a lot, but it seemed to me to imagine how it would be good enough. The final least, I know him well: a pleasure that you empty, and a drop of voltage from the knees to the roots of the hair. The start however, the real beginning of time, when the hands are still in place and the clothes too, when the mouth speaks only as a diversionary action while he's peering eyes the thoughts of others, here is short, the moment, the moment before the first kiss, I wanted it as the revelation of a higher state of consciousness, which in the end it was for me too, in as a human being. After the kiss is a lot of other nice moments, but they are well-thought-an automatic consequence of the first exciting enough contact from which they sprang. End up in bed after we kissed it was splendid to be but it is not surprising, at least ever since the moment in which the other, an individual in all respects unknown until a second ago, agrees to open her mouth as you approach. The Kiss, kiss the woman I wanted, was what most would have risked my life, but it was also the challenge more exciting. I had done with you, Mary. And I had lost.
[...] Again, the silence of the night before. And what you get closer inch by inch, taking in my eyes, lifting his chin to a place that, against all odds, against all freer imagination, seemed to be just my mouth. What immense joy, the moment the intention betrayed. I was doing, I was just doing. The people had not noticed anything, and neither do you. You could have heard the shot. One tum. And then everything stopped, no one beat, no sound, everything already done to myself, while our love began. No, no cyanide, but the taste of your lips, your saliva, it was perhaps even more powerful weapon. It's so, Mary. You can cry if you want, but my heart has exploded because of you, my heart has exploded thanks to you. I see your lips perfectly still hatching as I fall, the inside shiny, dark eyes of a woman who, without knowing it, he just put his lips on the death of a man. Here, on the knoll of Spoon River, loves to hear tell it lethal. But ours, Mary-perhaps that was what you wanted to hear-it was really unique.

Perfect Neckerchief Roll

alphabet of love-making for Christmas Card # 2 Sunshine Award

The second part of the post dedicated to the notes I made Christmas contains photos of those for my boyfriend and his family. Enjoy!

Starry Night and the Magi to the grandparents of Max
The first series of calls that I had prepared for my dad, but in fact the original is what you see here above. What better Christmas theme for the religious people of the Magi and the comet?
The Magi were printed on plain paper, glued on cardboard and cut with care. The palm was instead printed directly on cardboard. The star of golden glitter is not a comet, but it gets the idea that the miracle was accomplished. You also called on the envelope.

Gingerbread for Max's sister
I needed something cute and witty to the sister of Max, and so, looking through my books, I immediately adored this note in the shape of gingerbread man: colorful Christmas, brown cardboard cut out and decorated with strips of corrugated paper, shiny rhinestones and a burgundy ribbon.

door with wreath for mom to Max
Another idea that has inspired me a book one for the mother of Max A door with a wreath decorated two-layer cardboard cut out from the green and finished with silver rhinestones and red and a burgundy ribbon which is also called on the envelope. This is a note with surprise: you start by opening a music box that plays "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" and "Silent Night".

A female Santa Claus for Max!
to my boyfriend I wanted to find something special, and this time it's the Internet that inspired me, with this note the main character (who is not like me much, but it is the intention that counts) is a female version of Santa Claus. A ribbon, glitter and snowflakes complete the set.
say you miss the mistletoe? The intention was to place, but did not satisfy me so I removed ...
Unfortunately I do not remember the source that I've redone to create a ticket. If you can help, please do not hesitate to contact me!

snowflakes and white ribbon for the father of Max
I gave to my dad Max created the first Christmas card this year. A band with stars and Christmas trees, Christmas is the main reason on gold paper, and hemispheres, complemented by pearly snowflakes and an inscription "Merry Christmas" in relief, highlighted by a white pencil and a golden brown.

* * * * * * * * * *

And these are my creations Christmas of 2010. Account for next Christmas to find new ideas and to improve the delivery (even to provide new tools to use, who knows). We'll see!

How Fast Does It Take To Get Std Tests Back

Venus Crossing

Kalpana Swaminathan

These 12 stories "in transit" last August won the Vodafone Crossword Book Award .
E 'right on that occasion, in Bombay, I met the author and I liked it immediately, incredulous that he won, even if called multiple times to collect the prize, humble and modest, yet full of determination.

These 12 stories, for the moment not yet translated into Italian, Indian fiction are far from coming to our shores, completely devoid of "Indianness" or a particular Indian or exotic (which are old saris and spices or the new stories of Bollywood and slums), so that could be set anywhere in the world rather than in Bombay. Yet indianissimi soul.

The title refers to the transit of Venus between the Earth and the Sun, in which the planet appears as a black dot against the solar circle, rare event of a transit that symbolizes the crossing of more lives and small revelations that change subtly the course of events.

are difficult stories, stories of hospitals and illness, and train stations, doctors and patients, people full of sorrow, with a premonition of death that often leaves its mark. Stories high density of misfortunes, from suicide to "female circumcision", but without being morbid or moral, always fair because all real, sometimes sweetened with only a thin veil of irony.

His writing is always open, honest, sometimes it soars only in a few poignant metaphor, always gracefully, without overdoing it, as if to slow down at the right time to read, and to linger without tripping over a detail.

Swaminatha Kalpana, who works in life as a surgeon, cut with the scalpel of compassion the many colors of pain, managing to make it light and deep.
He speaks of death, but rebirth, but of despair also of hope, but also the healing of disease, as two sides of same coin.
and leaves you there, always a bit 'first glimpse of the revival, and without offering no denying that.
With brutal honesty and never blatant.
