route down: go for the same itinerary, with snow sure there are other ways of descent.

Route road: A13 motorway towards St. San Bernardino exit Pian James. At the bottom floor near the lake 1195 m.

ascent route due south-west through the Alps Scot and capuchin monkeys, the bivouac of Grand Pian 2398 m. Now briefly, and then on top of the hill, the last meters on foot.

Descent: the same route.

1430 meters difference in altitude.

Despite the bad weather, the day turned out just fine.
The snow just has not lived up to expectations.

Because of the avalanche bulletin from the beginning we chose not to climb the final steep channel opting for the southwest ridge. The choice was also good for you having only far as the pre q. 2357, then the peak was too sharp and too snowy ski to walk.

route on road back from Locarno, Valle Maggia all Fusio up to 1289 m. park on the right after the bridge if the road is clean you can go another 100 meters to the bend q.1388.

Route Rise: cutting up the road until the hairpin q. 1388 and then take the road that leads to Alpe Vacarisc. Pass a small bridge and climb to the Alpe still Mognol Court. Walk to the left of the valley leading to the Alpe Cana (short steep section). From here you can go into the valley and then up the steep channel to the summit or take the south-west ridge which leads to less steep slopes to the summit.

Elevation gain: 1140 meters.

Three days, great ideas, bad weather! Still managed to complete a beautiful climb.

Road map: Valle d'Aosta, exit Verres. Go up the Val d'Ayas to St. Jacques 1689m.

ascent route: follow the trail that enters the Valley of Nana in the direction of the refuge Grand Tournalin. Getting to the huts of Nana Superior 2193m. and heading north to climb the steep slope above. Go near the pond to q. 2586 Cross Hill and reach the 2801m.
along the broad ridge to the summit shortly.

route of descent: to return the same route or you can go with a more comprehensive tour of the refuge Grand Tournalin.

Elevation gain: 1200 meters.

Road map: Valle d'Aosta, exit Verres. Go up the Val d'Ayas to St. Jacques 1689m.

ascent route: follow the trail that enters the Valley of Nana in the direction of the refuge Grand Tournalin. Getting to the huts of Nana Superior 2193m. and heading north to climb the steep slope above. Go near the pond to q. 2586 Cross Hill and reach the 2801m.

ascent route: Follow the various streets leading to the hut Gorda, in some places you can cut through the woods on the summer trail. In places Sgianaresc about 1650m. you leave the road to get to the right, between sparse larch, to the summit.

route down: it goes over roughly the first leg.

Elevation gain: 1070 meters
