Because of the avalanche bulletin from the beginning we chose not to climb the final steep channel opting for the southwest ridge. The choice was also good for you having only far as the pre q. 2357, then the peak was too sharp and too snowy ski to walk.
route on road back from Locarno, Valle Maggia all Fusio up to 1289 m. park on the right after the bridge if the road is clean you can go another 100 meters to the bend q.1388.
Route Rise: cutting up the road until the hairpin q. 1388 and then take the road that leads to Alpe Vacarisc. Pass a small bridge and climb to the Alpe still Mognol Court. Walk to the left of the valley leading to the Alpe Cana (short steep section). From here you can go into the valley and then up the steep channel to the summit or take the south-west ridge which leads to less steep slopes to the summit.
