ascent route: from the parking lot turn left on a mule track that climbs steeply up a group of huts. Continue through the woods and Seiser Piane out of the woods at about 1550m. near Alpe Selvaccia.
hours to reach the ridge that runs up the summit.
route of descent: In addition to the path of ascent, more interesting is the direct descent from the summit of Alpe Sorbella then due west to the forest to the valley. A snow-covered lane leads back to Rassa.
Vertical drop: 1150m.
